Lies Hurt

Lying hurts

"Lying is bad."
"Do not lie."
Ask anyone and they would tell you this much.
Then why do people lie?
They lie to avoid the truth, obviously.

Why, when truth always come out?

Every liar thinks that s/he is above the law of Nature. A liar is nobody's friend or relative. S/he is a selfish person who only cares and thinks about selfish motives, conning others. They take advantage of innocence.

Pathological liars are so ingrained in their habits that they cannot see or evaluate the obvious damage they creates. It's like an addiction. A habit, which ultimately mars everything in its path.

A lie is a blade that sabotages the most beautiful of all relationships. It originates at the assassination of trust and settles at the murder of love. It is ruthless without any compassion. It has no morals and no shame.

A liar experiences shame when a lie is exposed but s/he is not ashamed of the decision to lie if not caught. In fact, they relish the thought of not being caught. It's like a personal triumph for them where they defeat the other people by making a fool of them.

Liars are lonely within as their selfishness leaves no room for others. They are cowards too, since truth takes courage to bear. They are plotters because a lie always leads to another lies for cover up ( web of lies). They are hypocrites because they have to weave that web of lies to hide their true selves. They lack peace because only truth can achieve that.

Don't lie. Lying is bad but liars are worse.
They hurt even the ones who love them.
Stay away from liars.

But then you speak of bitter realities, even in your fantasies (stories).
